Phobia is a game changer as far as thriller and horror content is concerned in India, says Radhika Apte

The Badlapur actress Radhika Apte will be seen in a different avatar in her upcoming nerve- racking film 'Phobia’.

The actress has given some great performances in films like Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Hunterr and Badlapur released last year, and this time it will be for her upcoming hair- raising film ‘Phobia’, where she suffers from Agoraphobia (extreme or irrational fear of open or public places).

In a recent interview talking about the film she stated, 'Phobia’ is not at all like the so-called image of thriller and horror films that we have in our country. It’s a film that I personally will enjoy watching as well.’ She also said, 'If people go and watch this one, then it might have the potential to break that stereotype image of Indian horror films.’

Directed by Pawan Kripalani, the film is slated to release on 27th May, 2016.
