Anupam Kher to play MS Dhonis father in Biopic

One of Bollywood's talented director Neeraj Pandey, who we had earlier seen directing A Wednesday(2008), seems to have a new project in hand which will be a biopic on MS Dhoni. Buzz is that the veteran actor Anupam Kher will be playing MS Dhoni’s( Sushant Singh Raput’s) father Pan Singh in the upcoming biopic film on the Indian captain. 

We have earlier seen Neeraj’s work in films like A Wednesday, Special 26 and Baby, and are sure that he has got something new to show the audience this time. According to sources "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” stars Sushant Singh Rajput who will be seen playing the protagonist of one of the most successful Indian skippers.

The veteran actor Anupam who is 60, took Twitter to share  the excitement about his role during a Q&A session with fans, and stated that he will be seen as Dhoni's father, Paan Singh, on being asked on his role in the film.

Sources suggest that Pandey and Kher have earlier collaborated on films like "A Wednesday!, "Special 26" and "Baby", and the actor said their bonding is one of the main reasons for him to sign the biopic. The film also stars Fugly actress Kiara Advani as the cricketer's wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni.
